Save the Date! Plant Sale May 25th

Hello All,

Our third Annual Plant Sale is on Saturday May 25th from 10am - 2pm. Join us at the farm, we will have a wide variety of vegetables, flowers and herbs for your gardens. Think peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, greens, sage, rosemary, marigolds and more. See you there! Located at Nubanusit Neighborhood and Farm in Peterborough. Follow the driveway all the way down to the barns until you see the open flag.

Here at the farm the spring days are long and jam packed. We have been rushing to keep up with all the transplanting May demands and putting the finishing touches on our newest hoop house. We have most of our tomatoes and peppers in the ground as well as onions, leeks, kale, chard, lettuce and so much more. Now we hope for the right combination of sun and rain so everything grows well for CSA in just two weeks.

In other news, we are excited to announce that our farm is a Climate Resilience Grant award recipient. The mission of the grant is to support farmers across NH to build climate resiliency. We will be adding a solar ventilation kit to one of our hoop houses and getting a solar pump to irrigate from the Nubi River. The ventilation kit will allow us to better manage plant disease in our high tunnels by adding more automated air flow. The solar pump will decrease our reliance on gasoline to power our gas powered pump and allow us to switch to solar. We are excited to implement the new technology! You can read more about it HERE in this article by the Monadnock Ledger Transcript.
