Hello All,

Happy Wednesday! I am off to harvest lettuce, micros, bok choy and radishes before the heat gets too intense. We hope you will come visit us at The Peterborough Farmers' Market today from 3pm - 6pm at the Bowling Alley today. The head lettuce especially, is looking beautiful right now. I will also be bringing some extra cherry tomato seedlings as well as cosmos, now is the perfect time to plant!

This week we have seen rapid growth in many areas of our farm. The veggies are taking off with the long, warm, sunny days and our new wash/pack and storage barn was raised and is being framed in! It feels incredibly exciting to see the strides we have taken with building Homeplace Farm. We are looking forward to moving into our new barn. (Let's just say its a bit hard to run a farm when our objects and tools don't have permanent homes!)

This week we have been working on weeding and spreading fabric in pathways, preparing a level area for yet another hoop house (this one is for our chickens this winter), harvesting, finishing our third hoop house and transplanting summer crops. The days are long, the bugs are loud and the farmers are dirty and sticky. It is a blessing to be surrounded by a bountiful farm, eating and enjoying the fruits of our labor. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Farm Credit Cards

I will bring some extra cards to market today that can be loaded, just let me know. And, remember, farm credit cards from last year are still valid AND we can add more money to cards at any time. Just let me know at market.

Farmers' Market

Every Wednesday at the Peterborough Farmers' Market from 3pm - 6pm in the Bowling Alley parking lot. Veggies, flower bouquets, eggs, Elsbeth's granola. In late May we will bring some veggie, herb and flower seedlings.
