Let There Be Greens

Hello All,
Good Morning! We are headed out to harvest and before I go, I wanted to send out the weekly reminder to come visit us at The Peterborough Farmers' Market today from 3pm - 6pm at the Bowling Alley, see you there!
Last week I had a terrible mishap where I accidentally froze all the veggies we had harvested that morning for market. So if you came last week you may have gotten some free or deeply discounted greens! Needless to say, I learned my lesson and will NEVER be making that mistake again. The head lettuce is gorgeous (and not frozen!) right now and the bok choy is so sweet and tender. Spicy and Mild Micro mixes are also back this week. If by chance you went home with something you were unhappy with, please let me know at market and we would be happy to give you a refund. We want everyone to be satisfied with our veggies.
In building-a-farm-news, we have been focusing almost single-mindedly on finishing our hoop houses so that we can plant tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and beans as soon as possible. Last week we finally put plastic on our second tunnel, added compost and prepared the beds. Jasen and Patrick have been working diligently on the end walls of our next house and we hope to put plastic on it this weekend. As farmers we fittingly call this month MAY-hem. Amidst it all, we are so excited and grateful to be building our farm just the way we want it. It is a beautiful and exciting time.
Farm Credit Cards
Remember, farm credit cards from last year are still valid AND we can add more money to cards at any time. Just let me know at market or send an email and we can sort it out.
Please reach out to us if you have questions. We hope to see you at market!
