Hello All, Just a quick note to say thank you for a wonderful season. If you were a CSA member this year please fill out our CSA Survey! We love hearing how the season was for you and use your feedback to make next season even better. We look forward to hearing from you! CSA Survey CLICK HERE On the farm we are busy planting 6,000 garlic cloves, working on our new hoop house and tidying up our storage spaces. As is tradition, we will take a farmer vacation for about 6 weeks starting December 1st to refresh and gain some perspective before coming home to order seeds, make spreadsheets, tap maple trees and start the next year. We are taking a desert southwest road trip in our trusty Tacoma! The Farm Store will remain open until mid November, so pay us a visit! We still have plenty of potatoes, garlic, head lettuce, celeriac, arugula, eggs, frozen meat and Orchard Hill bread will continue to be delivered on Tuesdays. Now is a good time to find some holiday items or stock up on potatoes and garlic for the winter pantry. Look for an email with CSA signups for 2024 sometime around late January/early February. See you then! We hope everyone is taking good care of yourself and your neighbors these days. Remember to continue to eat good food, give your friends and family a tight squeeze and support your local and global community as best you can. We are here if you need us, send us an email or stop by the farm to say hello before December 1st.
Please remember to bring back egg cartons, granola jars, pint and quart containers, rubber bands and black plant sale pots. We will reuse them!
