Hello All,

We hope everyone has been enjoying a restful and cozy holiday and winter season. We just returned from a six week road trip out to the desert southwest and back and are feeling refreshed. We spent time with friends and family, hiking, eating, resting and visiting new spots. Now we are back into the swing of tending the chickens, organizing our seeds and planting schedule and getting ready for the season ahead. This week we will start sugaring at the Dublin School and before we know it will be time to start spring seedlings again. Now on to the most important news...

CSA sign-ups are now open for Summer 2024! We are offering the same style to last year, with 8 or 16 week options and unlimited pick your own flowers, herbs and peas. Please fill out this form to sign-up. Sign-ups and payment due by April 1st, 2024. Detailed CSA information below. We are expanding our CSA to 90 - 100 members this season so please spread the word if you know someone who might enjoy our CSA. Each year we donate CSA shares to the Peterborough Food Pantry. If you are interested in making a donation, make sure to fill it out on the sign-up form. And thank you! We can't wait to grow for you.

In the meantime, you can find our eggs at Nature's Green Grocer in Peterborough and The Root Cafe in Temple. The chickens are happily enjoying the winter months, eating lots of giant kohlrabi we grew for them and dancing to their disco ball. CSA 2024 Information

Our CSA is designed FOR YOU. It is flexible and a mix and match style share, so you take home only what you love to eat. Each week we offer 12-14 items and you choose any 8 items you want. You can double or triple up on items you want more of and skip the things you don't enjoy. Vegetables vary by season. Pick your own flowers, peas and herbs are open at all times to CSA members. See pictures below for some examples of past shares.

16 Week Share - $600

Choose any 8 items of the 12-14 available each week. Designed for families of 3 or more or folks who love lots of veggies. Pickup every week.

8 Week Share - $330

Choose any 8 items of the 12-14 available each week. Designed for single people or couples or if you don't want veggies as frequently. Choose any 8 weeks throughout the 16 week season to pickup. Great option if you want more flexibility.

Work Shares

We are looking for 5-6 Work Shares this year. Work Shares trade 4 hours of farm work each week for a CSA Share. 16 or 8 week Work Shares available. Interested folks must be able to commit to 4 hours each week, be able to life 40+lbs frequently and be enthusiastic about working in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, cold etc). Please reach out if you are interested in this option and we can give you more details and see if it is a good fit.

When is CSA pickup?

Pickup is on Tuesdays from 2pm - 5:30pm at Nubanusit Neighborhood and Farm in Peterborough.

What vegetables will be in my share?

Every week we offer a wide variety. The spring has lots of greens such as lettuce, spinach, arugula and microgreens. Then we transition to the summer favorites; carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, lettuce mix. The fall is heavier on root and storage crops such as potatoes, winter squash and onions just to name a few. We try to offer known and loved staples each week along with a few new and exciting items. Where do I park?

Once you arrive at Nubanusit Neighborhood and Farm, follow the green arrows and park along the guardrail. Follow signs to the Farm Store and CSA pickup.

What if I can't make it during the pickup window?

If you think you might not be able to make the pick up window occasionally, please let us know, we have options.

I'm not sure I want a CSA share but I still want to eat your veggies, what do I do?

Our Farm Store is open daily starting in late April for everyone to shop. It is self serve and we stock it with our veggies and eggs as well as other local products. We also do Pop-Up Market Carts throughout the season at the West Peterborough Post Office. Stay tuned. Find our veggies at Nature's Green Grocer and The Root Cafe too!
