CSA Sign-Ups and Spring Winds!

Hello All,Although it may not feel seasonal, it seems spring has found us. Last year on this day we had 3 feet of snow but yesterday I woke to sunshine and spring birds out the window. With spring on the mind, this is a reminder to sign up for our summer CSA! We have about 30 spots remaining and would love to grow for you. If you have already signed up, thank you! Please remember to pay by check, cash or Venmo by April 1st. Thanks to those who have already payed. Detailed CSA information can be found below. Please reach out if you have any questions. We have been busy in the fields and seed room, starting our spring seedlings and working on finishing our new hoop house. This time of year we put a lot of energy toward future harvests. We seed peppers, tomatoes, onions, greens and so much more, putting our good faith in the season ahead. In March it is hard to imagine the bounty and color of July, but seeding tomatoes year after year brings me hope. Our chickens are also enjoying the sunny days outside and continuing to supply us with delicious eggs. Have you seen our eggs at the Green Grocer recently?Thank you for supporting our farm! Stay tuned for Farm Store opening dates and our spring Plant Sales. In the meantime, spread the word about our CSA and JOIN US for another season of organic produce.

Frequently Asked Questions:

When is CSA pickup?

Pickup is on Tuesdays from 2pm - 5:30pm at Nubanusit Neighborhood and Farm in Peterborough starting the first Tuesday in June.

What vegetables will be in my share?

Every week we offer a wide variety. The spring has lots of greens such as lettuce, spinach, arugula and microgreens. Then we transition to the summer favorites; carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, lettuce mix. The fall is heavier on root and storage crops such as potatoes, winter squash and onions just to name a few. We try to offer known and loved staples each week along with a few new and exciting items. See the pictures below for some example shares from last year.

Where do I park?

Once you arrive at Nubanusit Neighborhood and Farm, follow the green arrows and park along the guardrail. Follow signs to the Farm Store and CSA pickup.

What if I can't make it during the pickup window?

If you think you might not be able to make the pick up window occasionally, please let us know. We have options.

I'm not sure I want a CSA share but I still want to eat your veggies, what do I do?

Our Farm Store is open daily starting in late April for everyone to shop. It is self serve and we stock it with our veggies and eggs as well as other local products. We also do Pop-Up Market Carts throughout the season at the West Peterborough Post Office. Stay tuned. Find our veggies at Nature's Green Grocer and The Root Cafe too!

Please send us an email if you have any questions, we love hearing from you!
